For these project’s we carried out weeks of R&D to perfect the various controlled effects. These included vortex rigs, pyrotechnic rigs, dripping rigs, splashing rigs, spinning rigs and more. We provided high speed footage of all of the development stages to achieve each effect the directors wanted. The action takes place on a solid oak table with apertures and removable panels for access. In the background we fabricated a generic kitchen seen in soft focus only. The movement and timing of the effects had to work perfectly with the accompanying soundtrack. This job required many disciplines including engineering, model-making, CNC machining, pyrotechnics, puppeteering and fruit wrangling.
